Museum of Science, Blue Wing Master Plan
Cambridge, MA

The Blue Wing, the Museum of Science’s largest exhibition space, was a pioneer of museum design when it opened in 1971. Architect Verner Johnson conceived of the Blue Wing as a black box for science.

In 2018, William Rawn Associates developed a Master Plan for the Blue Wing to modernize and improve the visitor experience. Phase 1 is currently under construction.
