2025 Philanthropic Focus

Each year our firm designates a locally or regionally based charitable organization to receive a major gift from all of us in support of a cause that reflects our commitment to making our community stronger, more inclusive, and more just. 

For many years we have made sustainability and the commitment to mitigating climate change an integral and essential part of our design work. Several years ago, that commitment was recognized when we were selected to design a new headquarters and education center for an upstart climate education organization, The Climate Initiative (TCI), based in Maine. Our working collaboration with TCI wound down as they realized their focus should be 100% on the development and growth of educational content and programming and not on building a new headquarters. Through this shift, they were more readily able to empower individuals and organizations around the globe with the resources they need to create more sustainable and equitable futures.

Now, more than ever, the need for educating young people about the reality and urgency of climate change and how it is impacting our lives and their futures is of the utmost importance.

We are proud to share that for 2025, William Rawn Associates, Architects, has made a contribution supporting the ongoing programming and outreach of The Climate Initiative. We encourage you to follow TCI's progress and help amplify their important work.
