This Visitor Center serves as the “front door” to Northeastern University, a rapidly rising leader in both academics and research. A combination of innovative technology and flexible spaces make the center an ideal platform for fully engaging the over 70,000 prospective students who visit the University annually. The Visitor Center defines a new paradigm for college admissions that moves well beyond traditional campus tours by providing an immersive, customized, interactive experience. The “high-touch, high-tech” space captures the University’s experiential and innovative approach to education. Equipped with an 11’ high by 120’ long illuminated wall with several large interactive touch-screen displays, plus numerous iPad stations, the new Center provides a dynamic space bringing prospective students and their families together with current students, faculty, and staff.
