This robust arts center includes spaces for visual and performing arts. The main venue is a 1,100-seat multiform hall with technologies that adapt it to serve as a venue for University-based Music and Theater as well as a wide range of touring shows. It serves a central role in the artistic life of the University but is intended to serve a broader civic role, welcoming local community participation in the arts.
The building also includes a 2,000 sf University Art Gallery with work spaces for visiting artists, a flexible 250-seat courtyard style theater and a large 3000 sf multipurpose rehearsal space.
