This project brings together the Performing Arts and Humanities Faculty in a state-of-the-art teaching and performance facility. The building balances creating learning environments that are unique to each discipline and department, while maintaining an overall unity in design and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration. A two-phase project, this facility includes a 275-seat Proscenium Theatre with a flytower and flexible forestage, a 350-seat Concert Hall, a Black Box Theatre, Dance Studio Theatres, a recital hall, recording studio, rehearsal studios, music technology labs, numerous classrooms, offices and informal gathering spaces.
[This project] takes us to a new level of teaching and performance opportunities, where students and faculty alike can teach, learn, and work collaboratively in a state-of-the-art environment
